Isaac Kingshott is a versatile audio engineer/producer, sound designer, and composer with a rich background in writing, orchestrating, and mixing for records, concerts, and film/game.
Isaac’s musical journey started when he was just six years old as he began piano lessons provided at his elementary school. At twelve, his parents supported his musical growth by purchasing his first acoustic guitar. As he progressed his musicianship, Isaac immersed himself into the world of digital audio workstations, where he began to fuse his electronic pop influences with his love for rich orchestral textures.
Isaac has completed Fanshawe College’s esteemed Music Industry Arts program and has been the reciprocant of the “MIA Spirit Award“, as well as nominated for the “Engineer of the Year” award. Throughout his time in the program, Isaac has emerged as a leader among his peers, co-managing the renouned Share The Land concert at the London Music Hall. His technical capabilities and leadership skills have made a significant impact, earning him recognition for his achievements in the music industry.
In addition to his academics, Isaac has contributed his musical talents to the HopeSpring Cancer Foundation, Heartwood Concert Hall, the City of Owen Sound, and the Owen Sound Roxy Theatre. Through his media compositions Isaac has created everything from heartfelt ballads to classic rock-inspired tunes. Balancing his career as a composer, Isaac also engages in live sound engineering and has done so for large Canadian bands such as The Lightfoot Band, Tanglefoot, and The Stampeders, demonstrating his dedication to both studio and live musical environments.
As a record producer and mixing engineer Isaac has worked with many artists in the industry, creating heartfelt pop-folk tracks such as “June” by the indie-pop artist Lydia Taylor.
With a devoted commitment to collaboration and creativity, Isaac Kingshott continues to evolve as a composer, leaving lasting impacts with his timeless music.
